Their staff has very limited knowledge of anything to do with pools, they will claim their techs are certified pool operators or a CPO which anybody can become in a 24 hours with the test being a open book test, this company serviced my pool and used almost 2 full gallons of muriatic acid in my pool, I asked Brian what was all the acid for? He told me to increase the ph levels that were slightly low at 7.4 much to my surprise you use acid to lower ph levels....at the cost of my family or friends being burnt in my pool I decided to fire them and hire a company that has incredible knowledge of pools"

"As a business owner, my general policy has been to never write a negative review, instead I've favored the approach of speaking directly with the management / owners of a company when I've had a bad experience. But in this case they are operating with such gross negligence, that I'm hoping to get this information in front of people. Two weeks ago, their weekly pool service team so dangerously made my pool into a toxic stew that I lost the majority of the hair from my neck down (armpits, arms, legs, and chest), and sustained severe skin burns. (Everything is documented.) I'm fortunate that I didn't put my head under water. There is a long list of other bad incidents that happened with this company. In May, for instance, they rushed to opened my pool without properly installing the code-required covers on the drains at the bottom of the pool. When I mentioned this, they were indifferent, and never addressed. Needless to say, I had to hire a new company (Oceanside Pools, which I highly recommend). They walked me through the chemical tests, that showed the severity of chemical toxicity. They had to drain the pool, reinstalled the safety grates, refill, and then address a list of other problems from Oasis. In my observation over the past 24 months, a considerable amount of Oasis' installation and service work is not code compliant. I approached Tim with the hope that they would consider my feedback and try to address it one way or another. Instead, he responded with a patronizing, "I hope you're feeling better" reply. I'm writing because at this stage, we're taking about public safety, which again, likely rises to the level of gross negligence. This company should have its license to service pools revoked. I would also encourage the town of Nantucket to investigate Nantucket Oasis operations from top to bottom. As another person commented in these reviews, Nantucket Oasis is a recent outgrowth of Atlantic Landscaping, which itself grew too big too fast, and has evidently no qualifications to have further expanded in the pool business. They do not have the appropriate knowledge, credentials, staff or training to be operating a pool business. If I could give below a zero star, I would. They're extremely bad news."
