N H School of Scottish Arts

N H School of Scottish Arts, located at 922 Elm Street in Manchester, New Hampshire, is dedicated to keeping the Scottish traditional arts alive in New England and beyond. Founded in 1984, Scottish Arts is a New England-based organization that is committed to educating and promoting Scottish traditional arts and culture. Our group consists of teachers, parents, artists, and friends from various backgrounds who share a passion for preserving the arts.

At our institution, students can receive instruction in the bagpipes from some of the top professionals in New England. We also offer Highland Dance classes for kids and adults of all ages, as well as the opportunity to explore Scotland's musical history through traditional and modern Scottish tunes on the fiddle.

In addition to our classes and instruction, we host events such as solo competitions, Pipe Bands, vendors, and more. Our piping judge, Bruce Gandy, provides video feedback for competitors to help them improve their skills.
