"PROS • The pool itself is nice • Lessons are good • Coach Kate is good CONS • The owner Chris Payson recently changed the regular practice hours, with very little notice and no prior consultation or consent of his customers, during weekdays for the group our son is in from 5:00-6:00 to 4:00-5:00, making it impossible for us, and, I imagine, other parents who work a typical schedule, to drive our son there on time • Payson cancels practices often, sometimes for good reason like snow but other times with no explanation • Tuition is high, but there are no refunds even if you're dissatisfied or can't continue with the program because Payson changed the schedule • The billing process, which includes a mandatory escrow account, is, in Chris' own words, a "logistical nightmare" • Beware of add-on charges for what Payson determines, at his sole discretion, are required purchases like Shamrock branded t-shirts, swim caps, bags, etc. • Payson doesn’t allow parents to approach him, even with a simple question, at the pool; you have to email him to schedule a time to speak with him • Chris and his billing person don’t always reply to emails in a timely manner and sometimes not at all • Locker rooms are usually a mess • Some toilet stalls don't lock properly • Pool is not regulation size so you always have to travel to swim meets • Website is not easy to navigate CONCLUSION • Even if this location is more convenient, research other programs too"
