"The best beach in the world as far as I'm concerned. Most of my favorite memories were made at this beach, day or night. "
"Rented a mile from the beach October 1st 2021. Got a beach pass but the guard would not let us park at the beach club unless your a member. Shuttle was not running. We parked on the grass after beach club.did not see any no parking signs there. Beach was closed a week before due to high bacteria. We swam very shallow and weedy but not bad surf. nice walking beach too."
"Shallow a long way out, mild waves, great for little ones. There is a constant breeze so even in 90+ weather you are comfortable. Tide pools have loads of hermit crabs & snails for the little ones to check out, and there is a tide dependant river full of blue crabs for slightly older kids. Plenty of seashells & rocks to collect as well. Good sand for castle building."
"Beautiful private beach unlike any other in South County, RI! With it's gentle waves, soft sparkling sand and the tide pools--perfect for catching hermit crabs--make this a premier beach for families. It's a private, neighborhood beach and there is no parking or facilities so you need to live or rent in the neighborhood and have an entrance pass to enjoy this fantastic beach. The crescent- shaped, barrier beach sits on Narragansett Bay, but is tucked between the cliffs of Bonnet Shores and Anawan Cliffs, provding stunning views, warmer waters and gentler waves than the town and state beaches nearby."
"The beach is huge there are no roped off areas were you have to swim in.There are several life guards and barely any seaweed.I think the best time to go to the beach is 3:00pm because that is when there is no seaweed and a lot of smooth sand."
