"Summer 2023 was my first year at Roxbury YMCA and my son (age 6) had a phenomenal time. The staff was very nice, the curriculum was one that he even enjoyed & I was pleasantly surprised at. Being in the pool everyday & going on field trips wore him out and allowed him to sleep well at night. At the end of the program I made sure to double check with the director that I would be contacted next summer as this will be my go to summer academy for my son until he ages out. I can truly say we both loved our experience."
"My 1 year old and 4 year old loved the swimming lessons here. Specially my 4 year old. The instructor was very friendly, attentive, and patient. I live steps from the Dorchester Y and would come back to the Roxbury location for the instructor alone. She was really great. I wish I knew her name."
"The YMCA After School Program is awesome. They offer so many interesting activities, like karate, circus, and African dance. The staff are wonderful and provide a safe, fun learning environment for kids of all ages. Highly recommend."
