Reviews of Marshfield Skatepark
"Small park compared to the one in Hyde Park. My son doesn’t really like it. Way to small for his bike."
"Great spot for the family. Lots of easy to advanced stuff for everyone. Very small and gets packed quick. Early sessions a must if your packing the kids. Bowl is rad. Deep enough for dads to get down to business. Pool coping is great. Lots of shops and food walking distance."
"I've been going to this particular skatepark ever since I was 6, and I love it. I've seen it change over the years, from a small park with tiny wooden ramps, to a high class public skatepark for amateurs and pros alike. I do think that it isn't accessible for all riders, and a lot of the time parents just drop there kids off there on scooters, or just to play on it like a playground, which causes a lot of snaking (cutting off somebody's turn by riding in front of them, usually resulting in injuries to one or both riders), and can cause a couple of unfriendly reactions with immature and entitled parents. I personally find it better to go later in the day, other than right after school, but overall I find it a fun and safe environment for most, if not all riders."
"Smooth cement skatepark with a pool. Has some good features for learning on."
"This is a fantastic skate park. It can be crowded after school let's out, but it is designed to serve the novice and advanced skaters. It might be too crowded for hard core BMX tricksters but bear in mind we are talking about a municipal skate park and BMXers unfortunately, were probably an afterthought. That criticism aside, Hella good place for skaters, scooters and up and coming bikers."
