"Sadly this entrance and the swimming area are closed, likely for good (water is bacteria contaminated, don't let dogs drink it). All the wonderful facilities, picnic areas and playground remain. But, to get to them, you need to park at West Hill Dam entrance and walk about 10 minutes on dirt roads. This is a very nice walk along a field and woods. So, my 5 star rating is b/c it's a great place to walk your dog, go for a walk, hike or run, or do some mountain biking (great trails recently built out for this purpose). Enjoy!"

"Unforgettable day in this quite and clean shelter. Let us keep it the way it is by taking out all our garbage with us. I loved everything about this place. The swimming area is small but not very crowded. It was really cheap and easy to book the shelter as well."
