Draper Pool, located at 5275 Washington Street in Boston, Massachusetts, is currently closed for a construction project. The project includes the replacement of the boiler, installation of a new ventilation system, and replacement of the pool filtration system. Unfortunately, during the construction process, it was discovered that the pool shell is disintegrating, necessitating its replacement. This additional project has caused delays, but we will update with reopening information as soon as possible. In the meantime, BCYF Draper swimmers are welcome at any other BCYF pool. For more information on locations and programming, please visit our aquatics website.

"I learned to swim here 20 years ago. Aristidez taught me and is still the manager. It's clean, comfortable, and always has quality lifeguards. Since the renovations the big sliding glass doors let in lots of light. Love this place."
"It's a good clean pool albeit a little cool for my taste. Staff if very good. What bothers me is that I come at noon to swim and I'm told they're closed until 1:00PM. The hours on the window show closing at 6:00PM today. Totally unclear and uninformative."
"Great pool. Temp: 84-86. Perfect for families and therapy"
"Parking difficult. I went before eleven a.m. So not sure about other times. Clean. Nice staff. However, only 3 showers and one is for the handicapped. Leave swimming area a few minutes before time up to catch one or stand waiting for use. There is a barrier in shower area on the floor, a lip I think they call it, between shower and where you stand to take off bathing suit. I didn't see it at first, and tripped on it! So watch out! Changing room needs updating. Bathing suit squeezer in lobby, so, I guess you have to walk with your dripping wet bathing suit through lobby to use it. Inconvenient. It has free coffee in the lobby. Nice touch. There's a sign on Washington Street, but I feel it could be larger. I missed it the first time I went there and ended up at Dunks nearby. You could easily walk there and relax after your swim with a breakfast sandwich. This pool is compact, hidden from street, like a Fernando's Hideaway. One could easily miss it, or think it's a private pool owned by condos next to it. It wasn't unbearably crowded, so I wondered about the difficult parking. The parking area is also used by people who come to the playground nearby, and it seems on the bad snow days, neighbors use it, at least this is what I was told. All in all, it's a good back up when I can't swim at my usual pool."
