"This place was a great place for my for my wife which is a great place as well as the great safety areas. The only issue. Big issues was the lockers are not to safe. Really other patrons were stating the safe issue. Thank you so much for having the life guards there. Seriously. Everyone was well as MOSTLY THE FRONT DESK. THANK YOU FOR BEING OPEN"

"I showed up MCDermott pool at 2:25 for open swim on Google it says 1:30 to 3:30 so I paid for two children two adults witch is $16 then they go and tell me you do know free swim ends at 3:00 so I asked then if I could get the money back for the two adults cuz we're not going to go in the pool considering the circumstances cuz I told him about the online thing and they said nope no refunds I was like well I was blown away actually cuz it was literally within seconds"

"Things seem to change, month to month. The pool was great during April and May when the therapeutic pool was also open. Perhaps it has been closed due to warmer weather, but I saw one lady with a cane turn back on hearing the therapeutic pool was not open. All I could think was: how sad b/c it probably took her a lot of effort to get motivated and dressed to drive to get there. During June there have been swim meets every weekend so far fewer hours for local residents are available. The private showers and ample hot water in the ladies' locker room are nice. Lifeguards and staff are friendly and positive."

"Hot pool available in the winter months. Cold pool’s deep end has swim lanes. You must double up if it’s busy and they’re all taken. Shallow end dips down to about 5 feet toward the deep end divider. Two swim lanes available on the shallow side. Same rules apply with those lanes. The rest of the space is for free swim or water aerobics. Training tools are available on the side of the pool for anyone to use, swim boards and the like. You are very much on your own though. While there are lifeguards and many people around, don’t expect anyone to offer assistance or advice with swim techniques. I never would have known the equipment was available or what it was for if it wasn’t for YouTube and a friend of mine going with me once. I haven’t been to the hot pool yet, I will update this review after I go. Pool is available to rent for private parties. It seems the rental blocks are rather short but affordable."
