"My girls have danced at Mass Ballet since they were 2 and 3 years old. I have watched them grow into beautiful dancers thanks to Meghan Powers and all the dance teachers at Mass Ballet. It is a wonderful school with teachers that take time with each student to be sure they are trained correctly to avoid any injury. My girls love going to ballet, not only to dance but to be with their friends in a fun, yet disciplined environment. I would highly recommend this dance studio!"

"This ballet school causes a lot of drama, is not teaching students proper ballet technique, and is dangerous to the dancers. First of all, parts in the Nutcracker and attention from the director in the classroom come from personal friendships/issues amongst the director and the students' parents. If the director doesn't like the parents, she gives students awful parts in the productions, creating drama and competitiveness amongst the parents (like in Dance Moms). The students do not learn to go on pointe properly because the teachers have no knowledge on how to teach them to do this specific technique or don't pay attention, so students use the wrong muscles. This has caused my daughter and her friend to get injured to the point where they couldn't dance for many hours again. My advise is, if your daughter/son wants to take part in the shows and/or go on pointe, find a different place that will really care for your child and their well-being."

"There aren't a lot of dance schools that are willing to take on adult, beginning students. Mass Ballet does. Furthermore, they do it with enthusiasm, patience, kindness and a professional attitude. The studio is clean, well maintained, offers ample parking, is in a safe neighborhood, and is staffed by really talented people who enjoy teaching. As a 57 year-old student, I'm having the time of my life, and Mass Ballet is part of the reason."
