"Having known Kelley a long time as a colleague, my past PT and fitness instructor, I was delighted when she started Movement for Life. I have been taking Pilates under her excellent and compassionate care for over a year and the results have been amazing. I am 25 pounds lighter, stronger, happier, sleeping better and I have the best posture around! (for my 68 years!) Her students always agree that no matter how tired, distracted or just plain "whiny" we are entering class, we always leave feeling calmer, energized and definitely stronger. We may groan and complain, but we laugh a lot! Kelley fosters a fun, respectful, inclusive and nurturant environment adapted to all fitness levels. We form friendships and cheer each other on while working hard. Finally, I recently had a hip replaced and Kelley helped me prepare with periodic individual sessions along with weekly group classes. I am 3 months post surgery and my surgeon was impressed with my smooth recovery...all ahead of the game! This morning I just walked 3 hilly miles and am now able to return to class. In addition to her stellar expertise, what I love most about Kelley is her warmth and dedication to her practice / students. We all feel cared about , witnessed and attended to. Because of Kelley I have made Pilates part of my daily life. Come try a class...it could change your life!"

"Had an amazing experience. I recommend this class to anyone. As an athlete I could barely jump off my surgically repaired leg without feeling pain for multiple days. Now I can continuously get my elbow above the rim as if I had never had surgery at all. It also opened up my hips as I can now stay in front of guys much more efficiently. "I joined Movement for Life after suffering a back injury. Physical Therapy only took me so far and I was still not pain free. After just a couple of months of personal training and group classes, I am virtually pain free and am back to all of my normal activities. Kelley is very knowledgeable in Pilates and what exercises I needed for my recovery. She knows exactly how far to push me to get the maximum effort during the my sessions and making my back feel better every time I leave my sessions. I feel my core getting stronger and more flexibility in my hips and hamstrings every day. Even if you are not recovering from an injury, I would highly recommend Movement for Life to help prevent these types of injuries. I plan to continue my sessions just for that reason."
"Kelly is an excellent Pilates instructor especially with her background as a PTA (physical therapist assistant). Her knowledge of the body helps her modify and progress each individual specifically. I am a PT and had injured my back and saw Kelley privately and was able to return to her May class quickly because she could easily identify where I was compensating and help restore better movement.
