"Went today for the first time in the preschool group- the teacher a high school student was either hung over or sick, as she walked around the gym like a zombie- the girls were all just standing there waiting for some kind of instruction- it was really sad/ as my daughter was so excited to try a new place. a half hour went by and they just walked down the beam ....She seemed bothered to be there- on the other side of the mommy and me section was a very engaged and enthusiastic teacher- it is too bad this one was awful"

"Walkers is a place you can feel comfortable sending your children, whether they have natural talent or physical challenges, because ALL of the teachers and staff CARE about each of those children who walk into their class! Both of my girls dance at Walker's. My oldest is part of the competitive dance troupe, while my youngest aspires to be just like her older sister, which we worried may not be possible in the beginning because she has a physical disability that required physical therapy to strengthen her leg. She started with Creative Dance when she was 2.5 years old and the entire staff welcomed her with open arms and even added an assistant to the class to give her added attention without taking away from the other students. We were told she may never walk and she now takes ballet, tap, and jazz!!! I can honestly say that the doctors have been amazed by her progress and we all know its because of the classes at Walker's!!!! This isn't just a dance studio, it is an amazing family!!! If you want a phenomenal dance studio with top notch teachers, then you have found it! AND the confidence and skills that we have seen our oldest daughter gain in the past 4 years has been amazing to watch!
