"Fantastic coaches and classes. They are sending two members to the 2021 Olympics! Both of our daughters fenced or fence here from age 8 through high school. One went through college recruitment and now fences at Duke. The coaches are highly skilled, patient, and committed to their students, from those in the beginner classes to those in the highly competitive fencers. Do check it out- you won't be disappointed!"
"Don’t waste your time or money at Zeta. Horrible experience and incredibly unprofessional. The studio is always filled with drama, fueled by the owner, who has poor control of his own emotions. Fencers and other coaches are all drawn into his toxic orbit. Went through years and tens of thousands of dollars of this and glad to be out. Unfortunately, the spitefulness followed for many months as the coach actually instructed other students not to see or speak to my child even after he had left the studio. Just unbelievable…. Save yourself and your child the angst and heartache and go to one of the other clubs in the area."
"Wonderful experience at Zeta! Both of my sons enjoy attending fencing classes at Zeta. In addition to learning the art of sportsmanship, history and integrity of this sport, my boys also gain valuable life lessons, such as, believe in yourself, carry yourself with confindence, treat others with respect, take pride in your success and keep your head up when you struggle or lose a match. Zoran Tulum is the head coach, he and his team of coaches are unmatched in dedication, professionalism and passion for their craft. He is insipiring, engaging and goodnatured. My older son (12) enrolled in fencing 101 in September and my younger (10) just started in January. From observing both younger and older classes it is clear that Zoran, Eva, and all assistant coaches genuinely want to help each student reach his or her potential and get the most from each session. Teacher to student ratio is excellent. From the first class expectations are set high. This gives shy children like my older son a confidence boost and helps wild kids like my younger son focus and remain engaged. My sons have fun during class, without even realizing how hard they are working to rise to the challenge. The rewards are tangible and transferable outside of the salle. My very quiet, introverted son, comes out of his shell and shines thanks to Zoran's approach. My younger boy who is my extrovert, raves about his teacher and tells everyone how much fun he has at fencing, boasting about how his teacher is strict and expects a lot from him. Zoran and his amazing team of coaches maintain a good balance of support and expectation. In order for students to get the benefit of learning experience and to be safe while learning how to fence they must follow the safety rules and exhibit respect for the teachers, each other and century old tradition. At the end of the day whether kids become competitive or simply enjoy leaning a new sport they will have a great time and pick up things along the way that will translate into success in other areas. We are fortunate to have discovered Zeta - the high quality fencing school. Even thought for us Zeta is at least a half hour drive each way, it is more than worth the trip!"
"Participating in the adult fencing class has been a thoroughly wonderful experience. The class is well organized and thoughtfully taught. The staff are all very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this club to anyone who may be interested !!"
"If you live in the Boston area, there simply is no better place to train saber fencing. Learn your first steps from an Olympic Coach who currently is the National Coach for the US Men's Saber Team, or compete with the international champions who call this club their home. Zeta Fencing Studio is a breathtaking venue and a welcoming environment for fencers of all levels and ages."
