"I love this gym! The trainers (Steve & Megan) personalize the workouts to the participants goals focusing on implementing growth according to individual abilities. I’m not a gym person and I feel and comfortable at this gym. FPS&C is great for beginners/people just looking to get a workout and real athletes. 10/10 recommend!"
"Full Plate is amazing! Not just for building strength, but also as a place of community. I was lucky enough to find the gym driving by one day. Immediately looked them up online and had an assessment booked early that week. Just coming in for that, the other members in the gym were incredibly welcoming and I got the sense that it was the right mix of group fitness and personalized programs that I was looking for. I had recently moved across country and started working from home at the same time-- so it was hard for me to meet people and I was struggling with feeling really isolated. Starting to go to Full Plate was great for my physical health and my mental health. The gym in the morning was something to look forward to and the crew is tight-knit and encouraging! I now go 4 days a week and it's what I look forward to most in the day! The best part is you get programs that are tailored towards your goals and coaches that keep you accountable. If you're looking for a spot with some amazing coaches and a sense of community - this is it!"
"Steve and his team are absolutely great. Every trainer is extremely knowledgeable, supportive and always available to help with instruction. I haven’t worked out in over 30 years and they were awesome in helping me get up to speed. Continuously working to improve and update the programs, tailoring it to my specific needs and to keep training fresh and fun. I highly recommend full plate to athletes at any stage of their fitness journey."
"This gym quite literally saved my life. I'm extremely thankful for Meghan joining the team when she did. She recognized I had Asthma before anyone including myself. She suggested I saw a specialist and after confirmation, that suggestion improved not only my fitness journey but my overall well-being. Meghan makes going to the gym not feel like a chore and is truly a pleasure to be around. I also appreciate Steve's patience with me and all the knowledge I've gained from him. I've genuinely learned so much about myself including on how to improve on some areas in my fitness journey. Not only is he knowledgeable but incredibly professional, personable and funny as well. Full Plate Strength & Conditioning is the only gym that has kept me consistent in working out for more than a month. (6 months in!) This gym is overall clean, the schedules are flexible, both staff and gym members are extremely supportive and super friendly. Not only did this gym help me in my mental health (originally why I started my fitness journey) and external physic but the friendly environment in itself crushed any sort of social anxiety I've ever had. I am so much more confident now! Being a part of this gym helps with keeping you accountable and the trainers actually make you WANT to show up. I don't normally write reviews but this gym deserves all the recognition. I'm thankful to be a part of this gym and it's team that has helped me transform my life in just 6 months alone."
"Full Plate is an awesome place to workout. I've been going for 3-4 months now, and I'm stronger than I've ever been. When you join they make a plan specific to your strengths and weakness (which they assess at the start). The trainers here are very very knowledgeable and always willing to modify your workout to your specific needs at the time. For example, if something is hurting/feels weird they'll advise you on whether it's okay to stay at your current weight, you should lower the weight, you modify the exercise or you should skip that exercise for the day. Honestly, assuming you're doing the best you can with sleep and diet, I don't think you're going to get better results anywhere else, especially if you are training specifically for sports. That said, they are very welcoming to people such as myself who don't play sports and just want to get stronger, faster, etc. Also, because they do group sessions here, it's much cheaper than paying for a personal trainer, but you still get plenty of attention to make sure you're doing the exercises right and optimizing your gains. (They do also offer personal training.) I'm fairly certain the minimum age to join is 11, but many older people also go here. There is a good mix of young, adolescent, and middle aged-old people.
