"We returned to Carpets of Cape Cod to add to and replace a section of carpet originally installed in 2011. This company’s work is completely dependent on the quality of their sub-contractor installers. When that work is unacceptable (4 people tripping and one falling!), they ought to accept responsibility and re-do it correctly. No such luck. We were charged another $1200 (above the original $2000 cost) to have a competent installer re-do the work, using the same carpet. This will be our last purchase from Carpets of Cape Cod."
"Our church had a section of carpet installed in our sanctuary. After the installation 4 people tripped on it and one person fell because they did not level the area properly with the existing flooring. They charged us over $1000 to fix a mistake they should have fixed with the initial installation. A company that does not take responsibility for their mistakes is not a company I can support. Hats off to the subcontractor that came back and installed it properly"
"Do not use this company! Bought a $6,000+ dollar rug for our finished basement from them and the installers were completely incompetent. The first day they were not able to bring the rug downstairs. They barely even tried, threw their cigarette butts all over our driveway (so gross), knocked over a recycle bin of glass which shattered all over the garage floor, and just left. We have young kids and three dogs whom could have been very seriously injured if they walked through it. All they had to do was tell us, but do to their complete lack of common sense they decided leaving it would be the best thing to do. They also left the carpet half way out of our garage so we could not close the garage door. Since they could not get the carpet down the stairs, my husband and I brought it down for them. Laughable. The actual installation was terrible. The seam lines stick out like a sore thumb and the corners were just butchered. They also badly damaged our stairs by dragging remaining carpet down them, taking big chunks off the edges and leaving groves all across every step. Lastly, just to add insult to injury, they did not even vacuum up after themselves, leaving shredded carpet everywhere. I called to let the company know what a terrible job their company had done, and was told someone would be back the next day to clean up, but of course no one showed. Called the company again, and did not receive a call back. We have had all sorts of work done to our home over the years and these people take the cake for being the most unprofessional and incompetent we have ever come across."
"DO NOT USE. They installed $10k worth of carpet in my home. I had not used them before but they were very responsive during the sales process and I had to delay my install due to a medical emergency and they were very flexible with that so I was looking forward to a good experience. Unfortunately that was not the case. In the process of moving my furniture and installing they got an oil stain on my new Queen mattress (see photo), poked a hole in my screen door and left a mess of carpet shreds all over the house, garage and driveway- didn’t even vacuum when they were finished! They also were late causing the install to take 2 days instead of 1, set my fire alarm off and took my curtains down but did not rehang them (although they did come back and rehang after I called). When I discovered the mattress stain I called to report the damage but they would not return my calls. When I emailed them 4 different times they did not respond. To this day they have never responded. They are careless and not trustworthy."
"Best store on capecod that sells quality products and has quality installers to back it up and here is a couple job pics so everyone can see the quality craftsmanship"
