"Probably the best dorm on campus. Has a dining area on the first floor and good sized rooms that are doubles. Most suites house six people in the three rooms and have a hallway connecting them. These have a shower room, a bathroom, and a bathroom with both of those. There are two sinks as well. Together these well accommodate the residents of the suite. While there is no cooking are for individual suites, each floor comes with a cooking area and tv/entertainment area. Given the requirements to get in it is a great choice especially for freshman and sophomores looking for a living experience miles better than the typical freshman triple."
"This property is home to the Commonwealth Honors LLC (Living Learning Community) for first-year honors students. This building houses over 400 students with three RAs per floor (one on each side of the |_|). While the LLC makes up most of the population, there are rooms for upperclassmen as well. Individual suites have two, three, or four bedrooms for four or six residents. Four bedroom suites have two doubles and two singles. Climate control is one of the obvious benefits of dorming here, however it is not very adjustable ranging from 69 degrees to 73 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperature is controlled suite by suite, so all of bedrooms and the common area will be at the same temperature. If a single window is open in the whole suite, the climate control turns off. As many other reviews have mentioned, there are no power vents in the bathrooms but that is not a huge issue. The water goes from way too hot to way too cold so showering will not be an issue for anyone. The walls are not very durable so be careful moving furniture around. The paint cones off way more easily than it should and your door handle will dent the wall of you are not paying attention. It is a lot harder to make friends with your floor mates in USuites, as the suite style living restricts you to your suite mates most of the time. There are two common areas on each floor with a CONDUCTION stove top (you need special pots), a full size fridge/freezer, an island table, and a microwave/oven combo (the microwave has heating elements hidden within). As a first year student you will likely be housed on the third, fourth, or fifth floor. On the eastern wing, you have a nice view of LeLacher and some of the old mills (rooms x01-x06). The southern wing overlooks the courtyard (x07-x16). The western side looks out towards the East Fields Complex and the Wannalancit Mills (x17+0). In all of these cases, x is the floor number. The first floor only has the western side and the fifth floor only has the eastern and southern sides. Despite drastically higher housing costs, I would recommend l would recommend living in University Suites if you are given the opportunity."
"Six freshman shared one common room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two showers."
