"Literally worst place to work. If you want a job that makes you more miserable than you already are apply to aerie northshore. The “managers” act like they are in middle school with all the drama they spread. None of them should ever be in charge at any store or establishment. They talk behind teen girls backs and make them feel horrible for being a human being. They degrade you and dismiss any problem or concern you have. I have always loved aerie and what they stand for but having the people who work there act like entitled brats totally takes the message out of what aerie truly should be. As much as I thought the discount would be worth it, it’s definitely not worth all the emotional and mental damage."
"The store manager britt, counts how long her workers use the bathroom for, makes fun of medical disabilities & degrades and abuses her workers. She also likes to make you swear on ur dead family you’re sick a couple months after they died. Aerie HR allows this woman to still work there after multiple employees have quit a job they really enjoy due to this grown woman bullying and belittling employees from ages 16 and older. She also racially profiles customers as well and even the 16 year old girls who work there notice it and it makes people very uncomfortable. It’s incredibly sad because American eagle aerie is suppose to be incredibly inclusive yet lets this woman still run the store."
"I was aimlessly wandering around the Northshore Mall in Peabody, MA when I stumbled upon Aerie. I had never been to an Aerie store before, but I was immediately drawn in by the bright colors and the trendy clothes. The store was clean and well-organized, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to find a few pieces of clothing that I really liked, and I was even able to get a great deal on a pair of jeans. I was really impressed with the quality of the clothes at Aerie. The fabrics were soft and comfortable, and the construction was well-done. I also appreciated the fact that Aerie offers a wide range of sizes, so I would be able to find clothes that fit me perfectly, if I were a teenage girl. Overall, I had a great experience at Aerie. The store is clean, well-organized, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The clothes are high-quality and affordable, and they offer a wide range of sizes. I would definitely recommend Aerie to anyone looking for trendy, comfortable, and affordable clothes."
"I only give Aerie a 4-star review because I really like their products. However- their staff and prices are highly dissatisfactory. I've been shopping at Aerie for about 11 years now and I spend a good amount of money there per year despite their high prices. I worked there about 4 years ago while finishing college and I ended lasting a few weeks before the staff attitudes became too much. The turnover rate is high and most of the girls are rude and not outgoing at all. I say "most" because there are some who work there currently who are very friendly and helpful. I hate to be the type of person to complain but I went in there today during a lunch break and was the only customer in the store. The cashier was writing something on a clipboard when I brought my items up and said a friendly "hi." She didn't even look at me, did not say hi at all and dramatically pushed her clipboard to the side to indicate that my being there was annoying I am assuming. She said nothing to me the entire transaction (which is fine but just to show how unfriendly she was) and when the transaction was complete, I said thank you (regardless of what I wanted to say) and she once again didn't even look at me or respond. I get it- I've worked retail and I've even worked in the same store/ same location. Retail can be a drag. But you still have to be courteous. Even after I quit working there a while ago, I never complained, never wrote any reviews and even continued to be a (very) loyal customer. But today just got to me- I spend a lot of money in Aerie and a ton at American Eagle. I think they might want to invest in training their employees a little better or hire some who are capable of properly interacting with people."
"DO NOT COME HERE!!! I love aerie and Ive been to a lot of aerie stores that has friendly staff and great products but this store is definitly not one of them. I visited the store on weekday afternoon, it was not busy at all (in fact me and my friend is the only customer there). The two staff were so busy checking their phone so they did not greet us, which is fine. As we picked some clothes and ask one of the staff if we can use the fitting room, the girl gave me terrible attitude and said that "i dont want to be rude but we dont allow dogs in store, only service animal and your dog is not service animal". Well, first of all. Both dogs are service animals and I dont need to tell you thay because you never asked. Second, if the store have any rules around dog you should let us know in the first place. I have been to a few Aerie stores with me dog and no one has said such mean and rude words to me. As a person with medical need to have my service dog around me I felt terribly humiliated and discriminated. I will never come to this place again and I hope everyone read my review know this place has terrible service"
