"Proceed with great caution. Uniqlo used to be tops in value and quality, but in the last few years much of the shine is off the apple. They have raised their prices way faster than inflation (greedflation), and their customer service has become terrible. You can no longer return online purchases in store - in contrast to almost every other brick and mortar retailer. Also they don't price match, so if what you bought immediately goes on sale, you're stuck paying the old price. I still like some of the basics they sell, but it's no longer the safe bet it used to be."

"This place is always crazy busy but somehow still neat and organized. The employees were cordial and helpful, and best of all there were a lot of them around. Uniqlo's brand is well-known by now: decent quality essentials at an affordable price, though that price has risen in recent years (I spent $50 for a blazer that now goes for $80). The layout here could be improved. There's a human cashier (singular) for cash transactions upstairs, automatic checkout downstairs, and a bizarre table with a bunch of tablets to create your own t-shirt right before checkout. Uniqlo is opening a location on the South Shore (Braintree) in 2024 but closed the North Shore location during Covid. Please come back so I don't have to come to Back Bay every time."

"As I was shopping I saw an employee pretending to arrange clothes nearby and I know for sure she was there just to keep an eye on me as if I was going to steal something .. very uncomfortable experience and also demeaning. I realized this and returned all the items without purchasing anything. I should probably sue them for discrimination and stalking while I was shopping."

"Cannot return online orders in stores. Need to pay $7 return shipping. No warning on the website. Will no longer purchase from Uniqlo due to this policy."

I also wanted to share how especially kind and helpful Pranav was at this location. He made a point to ask how our day was going, and I could tell he truly cared about the answer. He also helped us download the app to get $10 off our purchase. Pranav was top notch and his customer service made my experience at UNIQLO even better than it already was."
