"Great to see Peabody support three separate library locations! Looks like there is a special emphasis on kids and programs. Kudos. This review, specific to the Main Street location: The building is a bit worn, but has good bones. The computer terminals are dated, but serviceable. The DVD collection is modest, but works well with rest of the Noblenet network to allow many hours of free home entertainment. Thank you! The desk staff are efficient and enthusiastically helpful. .... but don't show up 10 minutes before closing, or you'll not get in! That was my experience - locked door, waited until a library worker assisted patrons out (at 4:54 PM), and was told, "We're closed.... computers are shut down." When I said I had a pickup, he glared, shook his head and walked away, leaving me locked out. Hrrmph!"
