"I’d like to echo one of the reviewer’s comment, one of persons who works there, a short non-white woman, is very rude against non-white customers. I knew this from my own experience years ago, and only now read the review from others and realize I am no alone. Why did I feel she is against non-white customers? Years ago, I went in to pick up online order, she stood next to the assistant who’s helping me, whispering to her ears with instructions, obviously did not want me to hear her, which seemed extremely rude, and a bit weird. This happened on two separate occasions, so I do not think they were innocent occurrences. That’s when I noticed she treated customers who were white much more pleasantly. So, I’ve been avoiding the store whenever she is around. Recently, I was in the store looking at an item (did not see her in the store when I went in). All of the sudden she came up from behind and told me to put it down, she said I should not have picked up this item because it’s part of the display, she then waved her hand to the shelves next to her, told me to look there, but when I looked carefully, the item I was looking at was not on the shelves she pointed, that’s when I realized she didn’t care to help customer, she just wanted to exert her authority. I will keep buying Eileen Fisher clothes as I’ve been doing so for years, but I’d advise non-white customers to shop somewhere else."
"The customer service is unfortunately really poor. I tried to call to ask about an order I had shipped there, and they nearly hung up on me. After asking them to please wait and hear my question they told me there were customers in the store and they couldn’t help me! I hope it’s better in person."
"wow these reviews here seem like a tirade against the store... I am sorry but it is not completely believable. I have been shopping there for ages, there is never a long line to the cashier, cloths are never wrinkled... I wonder whats going on here? a nice store, I am not American but treated fine ."
"The store manager Dava Silvia is very rude and impolite .If you are from different country you are treated there differently. If you are not American or your skin is not white don’t even think going to this store."
"Absolutely ridiculous store, bought a bunch of merchandize yesterday, check the receipt and realized they charge me twice on a item...call the store and they Said with courtesy that I have to go into the store and get a credit...well, 10 mins wait for cashier and 25 mins to get approval. R u kidding me..no way I will shop here again"
