"This was my first real experience buying from Talbots. It was suggested by a friend. Bought some jeans online, but they didn't fit well. I went in to exchange for a larger size, but the store didn't have them and a store in RI did. The store associate wanted to perform the return on the pants I bought online, then process a sale for the new pair from RI. However, the sale under which I bought the first pair was no longer active, so the sales associate wanted me to pay the new higher price for jeans and another shipping fee, all which made the single pair of jeans more expensive than the 2 pairs I was returning. I thought that was utterly ridiculous and said no, thank you. I'll just take my refund and be on my way. Not sure that I'll ever shop here in-person or online again."
