"Found this place when googling around for Mass. music stores that specialize in ukuleles, and it was absolutely worth the drive. I visited on a relatively sleepy Saturday and was helped by the owner for over two hours as I tried out their selection (mostly Kalas with a spattering of other brands -- I ended up with a Twisted Wood that I'm so far very pleased with). The owner was extremely helpful with recommendations and with answering questions about uke builds/styles. He and some of the teachers who popped in and out for lessons were also very pleasant to chat with (in between helping other customers or students). I would have no qualms recommending SMC to anyone looking to get a hands-on before buying, and will likely come back when it's time for another uke."

"Fantastic selection of ukuleles and amazing service!!! Can we talk about how helpful Robert, the store owner was?!?! I spent hours in his shop trying to decide on a uke. This man tuned the ones I couldn't get right, he must have played a half dozen of them for me so I could hear the differences, he talked to me about the tones, the woods, the origin, the warranty! He helped me find the perfect instrument and I went home a very happy customer. I'll be going back to Stoughton Music Center with my son for a new guitar. You won't find that level of service and attention anywhere else!"

There are instruments for all ages- for fun or for the serious musician. The owner, Bob, is terrific. He will beat any legitimate price from other establishments.
