"My Mother's recent hospitalization, then to rehabilitation, and ultimately long term nursing home care led me to a hurried "do it yourself " medicaid application submission. My advise, do not attempt to submit a medicaid application on your own. I soon found the process to be complicated with the questions from the Department of Social Services and my answers seemingly prompting more questions.
