"Plum Island Flight School has been one of the best gems I have ever had the good fortune of stumbling upon. It is a wonderful community of people committed to helping you learn and achieve. Everyone there is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, which is in stark contrast to any other flight school I tried. Also, flying out of Plum Island offers you a kind of experience you can’t have almost anywhere else. It is a small but very nice set of runways and it forces you to learn to be a step above. I can not stress enough how wonderful the community of people there truly is. You’re getting the best education coupled with a kind of communal spirit and wealth that money can’t purchase. Not to mention, unlike the bigger flight schools, they don’t charge you for ground time. Most flight schools look to take advantage of students and pair them with teachers who barely know how to fly themselves. If you’re serious about flying, Plum Island Flight School is absolutely the place"
