"I wanted to love this experience for my daughter. The one star is for the nice counselors at drop off/pick up. I signed my 4 year old up in the hopes of having a quality camp experience for her first time at St John's Prep. The level of communication and updates (never mind some pictures) is insane. I have zilch to go by - I have no idea what she did all day...I can only get so much out of a 4 year old. I think it's ridiculous to not have some sort of quick update or recap or ANY pictures from my kids time at camp. Sure when they are 8+ maybe not such a big deal because your kid can fill you in...I think the bare minimum would be nice for what you pay. I bugged for some pictures - had some sent, and there's not one photo of my kid. I signed her up for a 3 day (3 hours a day) mini camp at an indoor sports facility and I had full itinerary, pictures, and even VIDEOS of the day. Felt great to know she was having fun and doing enriching and stimulating activities."
"My kids say they have lots of fun playing really cool stuff. They like the workout walking all over the school. The counselors are very nice and accommodating. They do gymnastics and enjoy their time."
"Can't beat the facilities, staff, and program."
"My parents forced me to go here as a kid for summer camp. Really bad place, counsolers yell at everyone like a drill instructor and if you are NOT a sports person then dont ever go here."
"I go here"
