"J&J is a great school if you want to get your cdl. I went thru there school program with John and he was a great teacher really straight forward to the point really knew what he was talking about and helped me out pass my cdl in the first try, I definitely recommend this school!"
"This review is for the CDL school only: They told my case manager at Masshire I had a testing date 2 business days prior to the test after claiming that they couldn't contact me on a number I've had for over 16 years. The testing date was on a holiday. I had to cancel for health reasons, and nobody was in the office, nor did they respond to my emails. They have so far as I can tell counted one of my testing dates as consumed, even though I tried to get it canceled or moved to another date. Still no response to my calls or emails. They use 1 truck a day for your classes in the yard for manuevers, and that has to be shared with however many people are in your class. They also operate a bus company out of the lot so they don't use all of your hours of yard class time for manuevers. You get a week of road practice, but once again, 1 truck spread around for however many people are in your class. If you already know how to drive a truck and just need a school for the ELDT they have slightly better trucks than Amaral's and might be a good choice for you to just get it done so you can get your CDL. If you actually need to be taught how to drive a semi; the teaching style is kind of brutal with a lot of high volume verbal instruction so you might have some issues absorbing/retaining information if your fight or flight response is being consistently engaged. The owner is kind of hands off, and intimidating to speak to which contrasts with a lot of the other schools around. There were a lot of homophobic, and some racist comments and jokes being made throughout my class time here so if you're LGBTQIA+ you might not feel safe in this space."
"Daniella, the owner - took my call last week on Wednesday - she said we could start a Class B CdL course with Passenger and Airbrake endorsement on Monday Showed up today, went through day 1 - tried to pay with my credit card and they said it had to be a check. Will bring in tomorrow. Owner offered to pay for my CDL with 1 year of service offered - I considered but said I couldn’t commit as I’m launching a new business. Was told to go to RMV and buy my manual. While at DMV she calls and said we now don’t have time to do the course! Would you trust this lady with your kids driving school buses if she lies and misleads people? What kind of role model is she?! You can’t lie to people and tell them that you’ll take them and then not! The attorney general will be called and I’ll be talking to my lawyer for damages!"
"OMG! out standing customer service morning, Called to get someone information about classes she was very professional on the phone and explain the whole thing step by step. None paid me to put stuff on the review just can't wait to start my class with them."
"Very unpleasant experience. Very poor communication. Surprisingly rude and unprofessional. My funding came from the training opportunities program through unemployment. The only thing that mattered was their paycheck. Because funds weren’t coming from me, my needs and concerns were entirely disregarded and I was not communicated with despite countless attempts. This is not an attempt to harm the company out of resentment; rather to help the potential student from avoiding similar issues to mine."
