"This school is terrible. Mean teachers and unfair consequence system"
"Love that school"
"My son started the summer academy on July 5th and up until today, had no complaints and liked all of the staff and teachers. I stopped by the school yesterday and spoke with Me. Taps, she must have been having a bad day because she was rude. Today I pick up my son a little later trhan usual and found him outside the school unsupervised. He told me that Ms.Taps said he had to leave and that he couldn't have a lunch and water. I was furious as you can imagine not only because she refused him the lunch that I had paid for at the beginni by of the program, but because she told him he had to leave and didn't give him even a water bottle. It was nearly 90 degrees outside today and this was mid afternoon around 1:30pm. When I went inside the school to speak to someone about it the lady at the front desk said she was the supervisor, and basically made excuses for why Ms. Taps didn't give my son the lunch he was supposed to get. When my son tried to explain the situation she proceeded to tell him not to interrupt her. I told her that I didn't need for her to make excuses for the her, and she threw herself back into her chair as if throwing a tantrum. You can imagine my shock at her level of professionalism. I paid for my child to receive a lunch and supervision between the school and another program. My son was denied his lunch and water and theres no doubt that the lunch went in the trash because my son had already opened it. Luckily, I spoke with another lady who was very professional and didn't dismiss my concerns as easily as the supervisor had. My son will not be attending CCSC at the end of August, I can't send my 11 year old to a school that will punish him for any disagreement that the staff has with the parents. I really hope that they find a way to train these two staff members before they let another child starve and go thirsty when they have food available."
