Reviews
"I went here for my freshman year in high school. I can't give a full review, granted I am the opposite of athletic and didn't ever talk to sports people too much, but the music program here is stellar. I made so many new friends through chorus and band, and both did phenomenally throughout the year. The drama program was a blast, with the best people anyone could wish to meet. Great public school."
"School administrators are a joke. Vice principals are not level headed and the athletics which were once glorified are now a joke. Send your kids to brooks, andover high, or move elsewhere."
"This high school, as experienced so far, is filled with pompous, self-righteous, egotistical staff. Never once had there been a feeling of such a greater sense of self-worth than what the people here seem to boast as they strut the halls. This is written this on behalf of all classmates involved in the "meeting" held during a specified time via e-mail. For those that attended with either curiosity or full understanding of the message provided within the attached document, had expressed similar views on this little amusing blight. For the last three years, what has been observed as if a guinea pig in a maze, has been quite the most humorous experience. From students with reasonable arguments and the intelligence of debate, being shot down by pretentious teachers with the cliche wit to pull the classic cards; from "talking back" to "I'm an adult." There are many students that feel unwelcome or generally become the silent type in class because of this. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter how blunt or offensive it may be to the opposing side(s), and to enforce otherwise is simply the wrong use of power. Each and every staff member seems to do this, and has been noted, also brought up as one of the main central points on the recent "meeting." Teachers are the prime offender of such, with the assistant principals showing moderate, logical evaluations of any given situation brought to their attention. It was agreed that many teachers often abuse their power and also induce lies in attempt to frighten their students. One recent example of this would be that a certain World Civilization teacher spoke that they would prosecute and press charges But that be only a sliver of this rather repugnant staff has to offer in way of their mental inability to act both rationally and logically, with a preset basis of an open-mind. With closing, it would like to be said by all attendees of the "meeting" at North Andover High School, that for every narrow-minded, crude, illogical, power-abusing, self-righteous, egotistical, uptight, and quite belligerent staff member, teacher, the sort, there is two silent students with incredible minds not wanting to be shown due to the idiocy of what this school's working occupants demonstrate on a daily basis. The Voice has spoken based upon The Collective and it's members. Donec Futurum."
"Just so you all know, she admitted to drinking. I don't totally agree with how the situation was handled, but it ended the right way nonetheless."
"Really nice school. A lot of great teachers; helped prepare me for college."
