"This branch of RSM is being run very unprofessionally. Principal does not communicate with teachers for decision-making at all. The classes are reassigned to new teachers all of a sudden , no one gets any notification. Very bizarre work experience there."
"The teachers are horrible so are the administrators. My kid was rated high gifted and made a huge mistake of enrolling in RSM. Go to other places like Mathnasium and/or Beast academy. More value for money"
"I go to the online RSM here and the teacher is excellent! Not only do we get the 15 minute break, but she gives us a minute after every assignment to recollect ourselves. She is enthusiastic and is working hard to try and motivate kids to love math. On the other hand, the classes are a bit long."
"As many others in the comments, I would highly not recommend this place, not even attending the evaluation. The staff is rude and impatient, not good with kids. They're not interested in getting to know their new students and their own individual situations. Their tuition is overpriced and there are better less expensive option around, in the area even."
"I highly recommend not sending your kids here. Hopefully things have changed, but I went here for several years during middle school for geometry and algebra and it was a horrible experience. First I did not learn that much at all and I noticed the only kids who really learned were the ones who had parents to basically teach them at home. Second some of the teachers were really awful and told me I would not amount to anything that required math(I am in medical school right now, passed calc in college with flying colors, noooo thanks to this school). By the time I got to high school I thought I was not capable of any math and then with my high school teachers I understood everything so easily because they were good at teaching. Nothing to do with Russian school of mathematics. I look back and I wish I was able to advocate for myself better. If your kids are struggling its probably better to just get a private tutor. I had the worst bullying here(encouraged by one of the teachers) because I couldn't understand what they were teaching, and I would never send my kids here."
