The Springfield Renaissance School, located at 1170 Carew Street in Springfield, Massachusetts, is a secondary school dedicated to providing a rigorous academic program for college-bound students. Our institution offers a small, personalized setting that encourages students to excel academically, care for themselves and others, and become responsible citizens.
For students in 8th grade considering attending a high school other than Renaissance, a form must be completed with their parents as part of the School Selection Process, which runs from January 9th, 2023 to February 17th, 2023. Parents will be notified by Student Assignment Services around April or May.
In the event that a student needs to be dismissed early from school, a note must be sent in the morning with the student's name, reason for dismissal, and time of dismissal. Parents or guardians must come to the door to sign the student out.

"Field trips for only 6th and 9th graders this year... that's fair. Work is tedious and boring for the most part and too politically correct. The school lost the "hands on" aspect as we can no longer afford field trips for all grades. Most class work from my recent experience has been independent writing. Science class is the only thing you can get "hands on" with. Overall, i'd say go somewhere else and make your life easier."

"It's cool. Learning wise, the teachers are well explained and if you don't understand something, they re-teach it in a way you will understand. Kids, they are very bad and they should take advantage of this good learning environment."
