"Three of my grandchildren went to the Garden Playschool, what an excellent place We all see a big difference in the three of them. Thank you Garden for caring."
"Lovely teachers but the director, Analee, runs this school like her personal fiefdom. Both of our children were "fired" after a year and half of full-time care because we asked that the teachers not force our daughter to finish her food. Our daughter was being told to eat her lunchbox in a specific order (i.e., chicken must be first, then edamame and blueberries) which was causing an issue at home and with food. We asked that she not be forced to eat food in a specific order and we were told this was impossible and we were no longer welcome at the school. We picked up our two kids that day, with no care in place. This was after multiple failed attempts to communicate with the director over ongoing issues. She was "too busy" for meetings and told us there was no way to work with our family because this was her school, her rules. Our nearly six-year-old was forced to nap, ignoring the pediatricians' written recommendation, and lie still on a cot (no books allowed) and forced to finish her lunch. The owner failed to disclose important practices of the school, displayed willful ignorance of our children's distress, and actively avoided communication while calling us a "bully" for advocating for our children before finally dismissing us without providing even a day's notice. We should have left sooner. BE WARNED, she will insist she has absolute control over your children while in her school."
