"principal richard (richards? can’t remember tbh) came to the school my sophomore/junior year, and he was completely awful. he was extremely strict, gave hour-long after school detentions (originally in which, students weren’t even allowed to do homework) for very minor offenses, took away things students enjoyed, and made the dress code so strict that girls couldn’t even wear yoga pants in gym class or leggings on dress-down days (gotta love when patriarchal, full-grown men find teenage girls’ bodies to be inappropriate)! him and baxter (i believe she was the vice principal? i remember that she was a little nasty, but fortunately, i didn’t have many experiences with her. apparently though, she is quite horrid, and disrespectful to students) really destroyed the social climate/overall vibe of the school. the female principal we had before him was so much better in so many ways... hopefully he retires soon so someone else like her can take over! i believe baxter has already retired, but hopefully she will soon as well if she hasn’t. i just remember being really unhappy there once the school changed. i was angry a lot, and always tense and worried that i’d get in trouble for some other stupid thing. i felt like we were always being watched, and that all students (not just the ones who deserved it) were seen as guilty suspects who were most likely doing something wrong. i loved some of the teachers, some the buildings are really nice and historical, and the cafeteria food was really good."
"Great school my cousin goes here he says its great"
"the faculty and staff are so bad."
"A formerly Christian Brother-run Catholic college-prep school with a uniform dress code & a college campus-like atmosphere. Students have several minutes to walk in between classes (sometimes up the street a few blocks), but this school is now likely a tad expensive for the student experience."
"My daughter Serena Rose and I love the school. WE have had wonderful experiences with the faculty. Mr. Richards is the most committed principal and he is involved in a lot of the schools' activities. The teachers go out of the way to help. Thank you Saint's Family for your dedication and care show to us."
