"Beware, the owner would recommend you to try it for more weeks (one class per week) and that if it's for a new student, the (about $1500 in our case) tuition paid will be fully refunded. In our case, per the owner's input, we tried till 3rd class, even though after the 1st class, we had communicated we wanted to withdrawal. Then the night of the 3rd class, we told the owner we will withdrawal. The owner said Ok, the tuition will be fully refunded, but need to wait a few weeks. Then, later, after what seemed like a couple of days, I got an email from the office, that the owner made a mistake that the tuition will not be refunded because we already tried for 3rd class. My daughter even though did not continue to take their class after the 3rd class, still could not get any refund back. We lost all the money we paid."

"What an awful place to send a child- no amount of math skills will ever make up for the verbal abuse your kids will have to suffer through here, and the tremendous toll it will take on their mental health. I think parents send their kids here because they simply don’t know any better- if you want structure for your kid, I assure you there are much healthier, nourishing ways to give that to them. Please spare them from the trauma of this horrible place. Teachers are extremely verbally abusive, love to humiliate students in front of the class. 3 hour classes with almost no breaks in between. Classes are taught about 2 years ahead of grade level so you’re not actually learning anything. The entire time I was a student here I was scoring an average of like 20-40% on every single one of the tests they gave us and no one ever offered me any real help besides yelling at me and telling me I need to do better. I was ridiculed by a teacher when I was 12 because my mom had a stroke. This place should be shut down and investigated for abusive practices."

"I am a former student. Couple things, it helped me, but only as an outlet to strengthen my inner soul. This course, was indeed helpful, because now when I get yelled at, I am able to stand my ground. If you want your child to be an independant person later in life, send your child here. But if you wish for your child to have a positive childhood, not only should you not send your child here, but all the other math outlets. A couple of these as an example would be mathnasium and kumon. However, if I had to pick between either of these or RSM, both are significantly better."

"My experience at RSM Acton has been nothing but amazing. Excellent teaching staff and a rigorous curriculum encourage success in their students. They are also very professional and accommodating to extenuating circumstances. Many opportunities to participate competitions are made available, and their students' prowess shows through the results."

"As an RSM student, I have never hated a place more then this gulag. This place is an abhorrent waste of money and of young children's mental health, dreams, and childhood. The teachers are rude, abusive, stubborn, outdated. There, all hopes and dreams go to die. The teaching style is a mimicry of the teachers personality, authoritative, out dated, abusive. They read off of a textbook straight from hell, scream, do not explain. The teachers are prone to ranting, throwing items, and yelling at students. The teaching style is pure board to paper, no 21st century student can learn here without degrading into a husk of their former selves. The communication is slow and abhorrent. They do not care about the students, they care about the (dubiously collected) "statistics" and your wallet. I was a mentally stable child when I entered, after I spent time in the system, I was bipolar, depressed, and cut my wrists. They glare at you and care too much about test results. Do yourself, your wallet, and most importantly, your child, a favor and not send your kids here to suffer."
