Reviews of Boston International Academy
"The school doesn't have a good structure to support the amount of students they have, there are classes that have a lot of students, the teaching is very book-based and so you can't make much progress in speaking, the heaters don't work, there aren't enough bathrooms, There's always a line to heat up the food because they only have two microwaves and sometimes one doesn't work, it's always chaos to park the car, as the parking lot can't handle the number of students and you always have to wait for people to leave because the cars They keep blocking the passage, I can't understand the issue of the teacher being able to teach from his home and us students having to go to school and watch the class online. They always make an excuse when we question something. We pay a lot and don't see any improvement."
"My only problem with this school is the infrastructure. We pay a reasonably high monthly fee and the building is not prepared for the number of students who study there. Not only are the conditions precarious, with few toilets available for so many students, but in the cold we suffer a lot without heating. Sometimes they provide small portable heaters that aren't enough for the number of people in the classroom. Some classrooms have central heating but it's clearly not on. As I said, the amount we pay the school could provide better conditions, since we spend 4 hours inside the building. I've always heard good things about this school but unfortunately I can't agree."
"Before starting the school I always heard good reviews, but I believe the quality has deteriorated a lot. The school's infrastructure is very bad, the heaters don't work and the classroom is very cold. The classes could also be better, the teachers only do the exercises from the book, we never do any other activities that could enrich our learning and help us practice the language. Furthermore, some classes are very full, up to 20 students. For the price paid, things need to improve."
"Before Boston International Academy, I was really self conscious about speaking and writing English. After attending BIA, I feel more comfortable and confident. The staff here is very supporting. My questions never went unanswered and help was always there. Because of the small class size, the staff were able to focus more on each student, helping them improve on their specific weaknesses in English. I have also made some strong friendships with my classmates over the struggle of learning English. The environment here at BIA is friendly and encouraging. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to learn."
"BIA is an amazing school as all aspects of it exceeded my expectations. I was very nervous about my English skills as they were very limited, but my learning process was well supported by my teachers and peers. There was no judgement towards me and through this school, my English has improved immensely. I would definitely recommend people to come to this school to learn and be surrounded by great people."
