"Amazing visit in while in Kennebunkport. While staying there we dined at the White Barn Inn and had the privilege of meeting the Executive Chef Mathew Wolff in their kitchen. The meal that followed was nothing short of extraordinary- quite possibly the best dining experience we have had anywhere in the US. Emma and Riley were amazing as were the rest of the service and bar staff. 10/10"

"SPA IS NOT GOOD. Felt the need to write a review because I did not have the opportunity to discuss my dissatisfaction with the spa after my appointment because my therapist lingered around the front desk so I didn't feel comfortable complaining in front of her. I honestly feel like when places add on the gratuity automatically it does not give the therapist a reason to do their best and I feel like this was the case. I got the exfoliating body treatment. I have had body treatments before and this was the most underwhelming treatment I've ever had and especially for the price I paid I should have been satisfied. I could have done the treatment myself and to have to get up in the middle of the treatment to shower is not relaxing at all. Although the shower was great that was the only part that was nice to tell you the truth. When she applied the lotion it was in a manner that was as if she was tired or maybe she was being lazy ?? but she put it on & it didn't even feel relaxing- I can't explain it. There was a lot of stopping during the entire treatment and it seemed like she did not have the exfoliator or the lotion within her reach. She had an extremely light touch when she was applying the lotion I would've expected more of a pressure that wasn't quite a massage because I know it was not a massage that I ordered but nobody wants a light touch it almost felt like a tickle.- I would never recommend this place to anybody."

"We dined recently at the Little Barn and chose the seasonal prix fixe menu. The ambiance in the Little Barn was five stars but unfortunately the meal was one star. Despite ordering all the choices at the same time our main courses took so long to arrive that our server delivered a complementary extra appetizer. Unfortunately it wasn't something we enjoyed or would have chosen ourselves. Food was salty and lacked complexity. Drinks were expensive and the wine list wasn't comprehensive. We wouldn't dine here again. On a side note, the valet was super friendly and prompt. Much appreciated on a chilly evening!"

"Everything about our stay at the White Barn Inn was top notch but I’d say the service is what stood out the most. Every single person from the valet, to the front desk, to housekeeping was so friendly and helpful. They took collective responsibility for a great guest experience regardless of their job, great team work. It’s clear they take pride in their work and enjoy what they do. The day we were leaving we asked for help with our bags and the host from the restaurant jumped right in to do it so we didn’t have to wait. Definitely not his job but you would have never guessed it. The woman at the front desk saved us chocolate chip cookies because she knew we missed them the day before and wanted to try them. Those are just a few examples of the small things that make a big difference. The property is beautiful and well maintained and the smaller size makes it feel so cozy. All the food on site was outstanding. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch by the pool, and a truly exceptional dinner at the restaurant."
