"not the same as last time we went . We went mid week both times in January, this time no dinner available, and no breakfast included like last time, thought it was a bed and BREAKFAST. not even a simple continental breakfast or coffee in lobby, and a 20 per nt " resort fee" for the pool? had to go to inn at Thorne hill for a 70 breakfast for 2 with tip, crazy. cabin was nice minus the mice that ate our snacks in the cabin. Not the same experience as last time, very disappointing"
"We had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the log cabin. It's so cozy and the views are beautiful. We did know the restaurant and pub were not open Monday thru Wednesday for dinner and that is something that we would have loved to have open because we did love that from our previous stay right before covid when everything was open all week. We did go to the sister property for breakfast one morning and it was great. Overall, we love the Christmas Farm Inn and will definitely return in the future."
"My husband and I got married here in 2019 and come back yearly for a stay. We usually come in winter and it’s always magical, but had our first summer experience in June 2023. I am disappointed to say a lot has changed under the new ownership. Staff was friendly, my dinner was good, but my husband’s was mediocre and didn’t match the high price tag. Breakfast was a HUGE letdown; it used to be delicious & included with the booking. Now, there are only 4-5 options and at extremely high prices ($20 -ish for eggs and toast) and neither of us finished our food because it just wasn’t good at all. I’ve always viewed the rooms as having a “casual charm,” but this time our cabin just felt a little dingy. The outdoor pool is unmentioned by the staff and not on the property map. Friday evening, we wanted to have a few drinks without the worry of driving, and the pub was closed. We sat outside on our porch and had strong whiffs of septic odor the entire time. Little did we know, there was live music and drinks right down at the outdoor pool (which we learned when we went there on Sunday, and paid something like $17 for a hot dog). I wish someone had told us at check-in about the pool hours. That will be our last annual trip, at least for quite some time while we wait if anything changes."
"My boyfriend and I stayed in the Carriage House Suite over the weekend for our anniversary. The Christmas Farm Inn was so cute and cozy. Our room had a jacuzzi, a fireplace, and a deck. As a huge fan of Christmas, I really loved all the decorations. The staff was all very kind and friendly. We had a breakfast and dinner at the inn which was also great. We weren’t able to book spa services at the Christmas Farm location, but the spa was able to book us for the relaxation room at the Thorn Inn which is very close by. The relaxation room was booked just for us two - there’s massage chairs and a sauna - we loved it. There’s also a lot to do close by. We went snow tubing, shopping in North Conway, and there’s a decent amount of cozy bars and restaurants. And you have to go to “The Christmas Loft”! Thanks again! :)"
"My husband and I spent three nights starting the Tuesday before Thanksgiving to the day after Thanksgiving. We stayed in the Main House. While we enjoyed ourselves, I will say that the room we stayed in does need updating. The bed was comfortable but the furniture is definitely at least 20 years old. We had Thanksgiving dinner at the Inn mainly because almost all area restaurants were closed. The cost of the dinner, including gratuity, was $177. Yes, the plate had a lot of food but we personally did not enjoy it. I was excited to stay here to get in the spirit of the holidays but honestly, my expectations were not met. The employees were pleasant, especially Chris, who was very personable."
