"The Devalles School Department and New Bedford City Fruit planted two heirloom apple trees from Ingoldsby Orchard Trees to bring agriculture into the school community and food to the cafeteria. The Gravenstein apple makes the best apple sauce and pies and the Frostbite apple is sweet for dessert. They are underplanted with fragrant Mara des Bois strawberries. The trees were planted by J. E. Ingoldsby, ASLA and Associates, Natural and Cultural Landscapes, Westport."
