"My concern with this daycare is that there was a fire drill and I was out there. I am a foster parent and the kids are supposed to be away from the building. The kids were leaning on the wall against the building. The alarms went off. It wasn’t a fire drill. The firefighters took a little bit longer to get there. They came out very very late And the kids were all over the place. The children need to be away from the building when there’s an alarm whether it’s a fire drill or not. I call for the Director. I spoke to the assistant Director and she just told me that she knew what she was doing. That’s a safety issue. If it would’ve been a real fire, those kids were leaning on glass windows against the brick wall and they could’ve been more damaging consequences. Please attend to this issue for the safety of the children and your staff."
