"Dunn State Park is a nice little State Park. It has some nice little trails around the pond so you can get some steps in. It's a popular spot for picnicking, and fishing from what I've seen. I would have given Dunn's 5 stars, but one of the main selling points of dunn's is swimming, and for the past few years the pond has only been open a handful of days that it passed water testing. So in short Dunn's is a nice woodland Park in the city that constantly has water quality issues with its pond."
"A beautiful state park here in Gardner. I walked along the pond loop but didn't go all the way. It is a very beautiful trail with picturesque views. There are areas for picnics, fishing and fires. Dunn State Park is a beautiful state park to explore!"
"Lovely space and very accessible. The pond was blissfully uncrowded when I went and there was a cozy fire burning hot in the visitors centerβs wood stove (open until 3 pm). There were ample picnic tables, play areas for kids, parking spots, and outdoor fitness machines."
"Dunn Park has so much to offer! A decent-sized beach area with swimming. Many picnic tables surrounding the beach area and throughout the woods as well as a pavilion area. They have a toddler size playground and a bigger kids playground and trails for walking- one large one that loops around the lake and a shorter loop that is mainly used for dog walking. In the winter they even have a free ice rink under the pavilion area."
"AMAZING PARK, WELL MANTAINED! Park is amazing place to walk with your family/pets and have a picnic. Park well maintained with grills to make a barbecue. Beautiful lake access and also kids playground is awesome add on. Park has bio toilets and parking lot. Recommend to visit if you are on area."
