"I'm sorry. I honestly just didn't like it. Very few booths were garlic oriented. I didn't know what to expect, never having been there before. I think charging admission for this type of event is not necessary. The idea is to spend money at all the booths and support the local artists and food places. So to pay an admission on top of that makes it an expensive day out. And I understand the admission was discounted anyway this year. Everything was priced very expensively. Not sure I understand the whole holistic aspect of a garlic festival unless the garlic itself has healing properties. I think I'll pass on this event in the future."
"Very well organized and well run event with many interesting vendors and lots of delicious foods. Fabulous artisanal products feature the beauty and bounty of New England, and particularly the Massachusetts corner of it. Loved all the art and the handcrafts, all the growers and makers, and the synergy of the collective experience. It's well worth traveling from Florida to experience!"
"Drove an hour and a half to this Garlic Festival to buy some additional seed garlic to plant next month. They had garlic for sale but the bulbs were not large enough to produce good size bulbs...so I went home empty handed."
"This is a fun offbeat festival to go to every year. there is music, and entertainment on several stages, and some rather unique vendors here as well- things you won't find at other country fairs. this is a little bit more holistic, and organic focused than a traditional fair, as you can probably guess by the name. You won't find rides here, like you will at a country fair, but there are plenty of activities for kids and families . It's a fun place to go for a couple of hours, my kids have always found it interesting, and they were not bored like they might be at some things. There is a great, varied assortment of foods here, as well. You can also check out emerging green technologies here as well."
