"This school does not do much about bullying. The school should practice and encourage children to be kind to each other. There were a lot of times teachers witnessed bullying and said nothing. That's being an enabling this behavior."

"My son came from Broadalbin-Perth and did great in school. He was in watervliet for 2 months and his grades dropped and he started acting like an animal. Needless to say I took him back out to Broadalbin-Perth. I went to watervliet and my 1st grade teacher was my sons second grade teacher. Ms. sand, she is a great teacher! Very caring and goes above and beyond for the kids. My theory is the lower teacher to student ratio gave them more freedom and sorry to say it but children in watervliet are way more hyper and undisciplined. Also by this time while in Broadalbin he had already gone on trips and done activities that parents could come in to help with. My understanding is watervliet is very financially challenged."
