"Not a huge fan of this Dentistry. We had a dentist appointment for my 6 year old son and it went okay at first but, when we met with the Dentist, Dr. Choe, he was not really child-friendly. For personal reasons, it was my son’s first visit to a dentist; therefore, he would asked a lot of questions (on anything) because of his curiosity. But I can tell Dr. Choe wasn’t interested in answering simple questions from my son but instead just wanted to get in, get it done and go as soon as he’s finished. That made an impression that he’s not great with kids. He is very bland for someone who works at a family type of setting. On top of all that, this dentistry is supposed to be a judgement free dentist. I indeed felt judged when they spotted cavities on my son’s teeth and, by his facial expressions and comments, Dr. Choe especially made me feel as if I wasn’t taking care of his teeth very well or don’t know how to. Note: I am doing the best that I can to take care of my son’s teeth everyday, twice a day! Overall, my son’s hygienist was okay but not so much as the dentist himself. We ended up going somewhere else after the first appointment, since we didn’t have a good experience. Honestly I would not recommend Waterville Family Dentistry to anyone…with kids!"

"I would suggest not taking the 5 star reviews to heart, as I've been told by multiple people that patients are encouraged to leave positive reviews in exchange for gift cards. My buddy was treated horribly by staff at the front desk and was heavily pressured to get thousands of dollars of work done, even when he repeatedly stressed that he could not financially go that route. He eventually had to get fillings done- dentist did initial drilling for one tooth, the rest of the drilling and actual filling were completed by the hygienists- they were not done correctly, his gums bled for a week and he now has sensitivity in the teeth that were filled. I would recommend looking elsewhere for dental care."

"Dr. Choe and Courtney are amazing. I have bad anxiety and they made me feel so comfortable from start to finish. PAINLESS the whole time and he is a great dentist because recovery time is minimal. I highly recommend this practice. It is clean, well ran and you can tell Dr. Choe has a passion for what he does by how much he invests in his practice. Thanks for helping me restore my dental health."

"I’m new to the area in search of an honest and collaborative dentistry. Me previous hometown dentistry would see me twice a year for over 30 years. All work was consented to by my dentist and I. My first visit to Waterville Family Dentistry included exam and X-rays. The shocker came when they gave me the estimate of several thousand dollars for work that I did not want or need, like redoing several fillings that were not causing a problem. I could not get a regular cleaning by choice. They insisted a deep cleaning costing many hundreds of dollars. I want a dentist who is going to honor my wishes, and work with me, the client; Waterville Family Dentistry is not such a caregiver."
