"Last year I switched from my almost life-long dentist when my hygienist moved to Dr. Austin's office. I still LOVE my hygienist, and don't even know her last name. It turns out Dr. Austin is awesome too. Not at all rushed as another review indicates. I didn't have an appointment to even see Dr. Austin, since it was to be just a cleaning today, but when I expressed concern about some sensitive spots, she came in, decided to treat them with a coating, and took a few minutes to explain to me what was happening with my over brushing habits, gave me a mirror and pointed out exactly what I was doing to my teeth and gave me some extra fluoride coating for several months from now. When I went last year, and first met her, she had less time, and less reason to see me, but was nonetheless professional and courteous. The dental industry is short handed and trying to keep up, and to really help as many people as they can fit in (I begged them to fit my husband in today too, because he needed a cleaning and lost a filling - never having seen him, they fit him in, and scheduled tomorrow, one day later to fill the tooth). 140.00 for a cleaning and fluoride treatment is reasonable. They have pretty major overhead. I think a once a year cleaning at that cost is a no brainer investment in my health."

"I have been here previously, but when my dental insurance changed i changed provider for a while, and when I told the office receptionist that I had to find dental health care elsewhere for a while because of my dental insurance, she told me I should probably get my care elsewhere then. I’m appalled. I could think of 100 different things to say, but she chose to be rude about it. The only reason i chose to go back there is because i really like one of the hygienist."
