"Over the last twenty years I have purchased alot of clothing articles from this store. I live in N.J. but have a second home in East Falmouth. I went into the store today and wanted to purchase a sweater for a Christmas gift for my daughter. The purchase would have been over $50.00. Not sure if the manufactures sizing I asked about the Christmas return policy. Credit card purchases have a return date of January 3, 2024. I explained that I would not be back until Martin Luther King weekend, approximately the second week in January. I asked if there was store credit and they said no. I would just loose my money. Bad store policy. I walked out and some customers who overheard came up to me and said they didn’t understand that terrible store policy. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Love Port Cargo!!"
"To give some background I'm a teenager. So maybe my group looked a bit sketchy or something since teenagers are intimidating I don't really know. But my friends and I were browsing in the toy section very innocently. Usually we act like hooligans but we were just being polite and looking around. Maybe we would've actually bought something if the lady behind the counter didn't tell us to stop touching everything. Okay. I'll just not buy anything thank you :) (What's the point in going into a physical store if you aren't allowed to touch anything?!)"
"Not sufficient in returning calls about a job position. Applied in the beginning of April then had an interview. Went back a week and a half later too see how the interview process was going, gave them my information again and still haven't heard anything from them."
"I’m not the type of person to write bad reviews, no matter how bad the service. But this stores terrible treatment of its customers have caused me to break my streak. I walked in with my girlfriend and my little cousin to do some gift shopping and as we were looking around, an employee of the store starting following us around. This continued for about 3 minutes until I picked up a board game to read the back of it. She then told us “Are you going to buy anything or are you just going to touch stuff?” I was extremely taken aback by this because we had only picked up a couple of things as I was browsing in order to see if I wanted to buy it, as one does when shopping. Still shocked, I said, “I’m sorry, are you the owner?” The lady replied, “No but I work here.” told her we were just browsing and not causing any problems. She then told us to leave. I told her I would not leave unless the owner wanted us to leave because we hadn’t done anything wrong. She then went and got another employee who came over, apologized and told us that they had a group of teenagers walk in who just touched things and didn’t buy anything. I told her that we are not those teenagers, and that we may have been planning on buying something, but now we definitely wouldn’t. I would not recommend going to this place if you are a teenager or look like one because the workers will treat you like scum for daring to enter that place."
"Very disappointed with the customer service that I received in this store. The woman, who appeared to be the shop owner, was reading her book behind the counter when my friend and I walked in. I asked to look at some of the bracelets in the case, which she begrudgingly showed me. As it was clear that she was not interested in our business, we opted not to buy. When getting ready to leave the store the woman screamed after me asking for her bracelets back and accusing me of stealing. In all reality, I had put the bracelets that I had tried on back in the jewelry tray for her while she was helping me. Shocked and appalled that this is how they treat customers, I'll take my business elsewhere."
