"The building where this gym is located at a really good spot, beautiful sunsets and a gorgeous view of downtown Springfield and CT river while you use the Stairmaster or hit your PR! During the summer you could go “warm up” at the bicycle trail park across the bridge (highly recommended).I’ve been member of this Esporta gym for over 2 years and probably only saw 1 or 2 new machines added, unfortunately most are in need of repair or are very rusted, one of the treadmills in the first floor skipped while I was jogging and hyperextended my knee, I see a lot of reviews about cleanliness but IMO it’s not the cleaning crew, this is probably a bigger issue with owners/admin not investing in new equipment or adding new gym rubber floor (instead of the current old smelly carpet) to these facilities, The staff is great and very friendly! I’ll sincerely miss going to this building since I’ve joined another gym in Springfield that meet my expectations."

"I like coming to this gym because it has a pool, but every time I come I have to actively try to not be grossed out by how dirty it is. Pretty sure they never clean the benches in the locker room or sauna and the floor always has hair. The pool needs to be vaccumed asap as there are clumps of dust and hair in the bottom. Today there were remains of soggy old wet paper trash on the pool deck. I’ll continue to go to use the pool but when friends ask about the gym I tell them to look elsewhere. In terms of gym equipment, people hardly ever wipe the equipment after use. This could be remedied by having more spray bottles readily available as opposed to one spray/clean station for fifty machines in the middle of the room. Anyway, hope they work on the cleanliness because it keeps getting grosser and grosser. The group fitness classes are good though!"

"We have come today to use a pool , hot tub and sauna. All of these mentioned places including the changing room was super dirty. Hair all over , dirt around the pool and water in hot tub was dark ( not clean) . You could see sticky floor and dirt around . Showers were ok - at least that . I have been a member of this gym for a long time, paid but could not come lately due to injury. I encouraged my friends to join Esporta 2 months ago ( price is affordable) but I now regret it. They mentioned to me few days ago that the gym is super dirty. I told them “they “ have good and bad days yes. Today , it was my first visit in a While - I was shocked - what I saw was worse than any other time I remember. I felt disgusted when I tried to sit in a sauna - while looking down on a floor the piles of hair under our feet , trapped around plastic and under benches ….we were to complain at the desk but no one was there and we left. I really hope something will change or we will cancel our membership. I don’t even mind OLD equipments as other people complain about - CLEANLINESS is THE MOST Important to me ( to everyone I bet ) . I love the fact that the gym has otherwise so much to offer ( not many have a pool and sauna or hot tub but it is useless if it turns your stomach upside down to enter ) . I would happily give 5 starts for Zumba classes though . Instructors are wonderful!!!. They give it all to make it fun and challenging. Haven’t tried spinning classes so cannot say anything about that. I am sure these are great too. I would be happy to take this review down when I ( we ) see the improvements. I have never written a negative review ever but this is not the first time I complained about cleanliness in this gym in person. Now here."

"It was a great experience walking into this gym. I was greeted at the door and was referred to a polite employee named Alex. The people are great and the atmosphere and cleanliness of the gym deserves credit. Thanks to a the great employees keeping this gym an awsome place to workout."
