"Bar where everybody knows your name. Locals come to play volleyball in one of two courts for the purpose in sand pits (thus the bar’s name). Clean bathroom and friendly bartender. Food is good and fairly priced. In July 2023 the Rensselaer County Libertarian Party hosted Larry Sharpe at this location."

"Very nice place. Great activities offered including virtual golf, trivia night, pool, darts, karaoke, drinking and even volley ball leagues in the summer. The staff is great and they keep the place clean. The wings are out of this world good and the owner is beyond accommodating when it comes to hosting parties. My family and I have held a few gatherings there and will definitely be planning more for the future."
