"I brought a pair of 24 karat gold earring to Marcou Jewelers in Watertown for repair - the spring in the clasp of one of the earrings was not working well. Marcou called the next day to say the repair was complete. When I went to pick up my earring I found the spring had not been repaired! They did not say they couldn't do the repair - but when I looked at the work done I found no repair had been made. Not a place I would recommend for repairs - it used to be excellent. I had the same earring repaired 8 years ago and they did a perfect job."
"First time I came in here a few weeks ago to get my ring size, lovely owner strikes up such friendly conversation with me and it was such a great encounter. Then today I returned to get a necklace clasp repaired, once again he was SO fun and sweet, got it done in 5 minutes and didn't even charge me, so generous. Will certainly be coming back here!"
"Either he doesn't know what he's talking about, or he just didn't feel like working. Came in for a simple link repair on a watch that goes for $670-750 in the used market (not the point, but bear with me). He takes a quick look and says, "oh, this is just a worthless piece, it's really not worth spending any money on fixing this". I tell him I'm surprised to hear that about this brand, but he insists that yes, they used to be good, now they are terrible, and I should not waste my money. What? Should I buy another watch just because a link pin is broken? Even if it was a piece of s**t watch, your customer manners are way off, my man! Also, please buy a broom or a vacuum cleaner, because I could not believe a jewelry store could have such a dirty carpet... Glad to bring my "worthless" watch to anyone else who will be glad to help a potential customer"
"Kenneth has always been friendly and helpful to me. He installs batteries in my watch--and recently tore off an old watch band and replaced the new one I had... for no charge. A kind and enjoyable shop to visit."
"Took two pairs of earrings for repair in this shop, the owner did an amazing job on both. I came back to buy a set of gold earrings, which I'm super happy with. Will come back again. Felt very welcomed and taken care of!"
