"I wanted to get my engagement ring reset and add additional stones. My friend had just had her ring done and referred me to Bouvier Jewelers. Jeff was very pleasant to work, he was able to find the additional stones I wanted at a seemingly fair price, he did seem a bit aloof at times but I chalked it up to having a lot going on. I had 2 bands and my engagement ring which he had used one of my bands to reset the center stone and add the additional stones without prior discussion. I was under the impression he was going to reset the stones on a different band. At the end of the day it was fine, my rings came out gorgeous. However less than a year after having the prong work and the resetting, I lost 3 diamonds including my center stone! Luckily, I found the center stone! I brought my 3 rings to a different jeweler and he had said the setting was 25% too small for the stone and I was about to loose the other stones that had been added to the setting! Prior to having my rings reset and the prongs looked at by Bouvier, I had never lost a stone."
