A good bang for your buck , the people here are nice.I never used the new library itsel f much Big Ugly Building with not much content. .Second hand Bkstore is gd and the prices are reasonable."

"Such a great affordable bookstore well worth the trip I bought quite a few books for $30! It's very cute they have lots of interesting nooks & crannies including a bird watching corner. It's not geared toward tourists so the prices aren't crazy & it has a lovely local feel to it which is sometimes hard to find in a town like Damariscotta which attracts so many tourists in the summer."
