"Scott knows his stuff, does great work! I've been to him a few times and have been more than happy with the work he's done every time."
"Brought my KTM 1190 Adventure for new set of skins (Mitas E-07plus 50/50) I had called "everyone from "Hyannis to Plymouth (where I actually bought my bike)" and was turned down. Bushleague service attitude everywhere. Meanwhile, Scott found time to do it Saturday. Guess who's doing my service on my bike on Monday ...and from now on?"
"Bought a used 2003 Honda Shadow and brought to Scott for inspection. He pointed out several repairs that needed to be done including new tires which I thought were ok but he showed me some micro cracks in the treads. We went over the needed parts in a catalog and picked out the best ones for me and he gave me a very reasonable estimate. I brought the bike home until I was ready to make the repairs. Covid-19 hit and I couldn't get it back to him for a few months so my wife and I took it out for several rides locally. One day something didn't feel right so I turned around and brought the bike home. We checked the tires and sure enough there were new cracks all over the outter edge of both of them. I brought it back to Scott finally for the repairs. He kept his estimate and told me that the rear tire was blown out and I was very fortunate not to have gone down. I feel Scott is a very fair and honest man who tells you how it is. He keeps your safety in mind and his work is outstanding. A true professional. I trust my bikes safety after a repair at this shop."
"Scott Hardy is a very good mechanic, and he is honest. Those two traits are difficult to find. His shop is small and he is independent, so don’t expect fancy appointment technology or a big inventory of parts. But he knows what he is doing, and will be honest about your bike and his approach to repairing or maintaining it."
"Every time I've dealt with the guy I've gotten an attitude, so I guess I'll look elsewhere, and my partner had pretty much the same experience. All my old-school co-workers like the guy, so maybe he just has a thing against young riders, or they gravitate towards people who give people the same attitude they do. And his clock is a few minutes fast. Previously claimed that he would have been out of inspection stickers if I'd had work I'd called and asked about done elsewhere, then magically had them when I said I did the work myself. $300+ to mount and balance tires is twice what I paid for them in the first place, and a third of what I paid for that whole bike, so yeah I did it myself. If you do actually get him to do a sticker, bring exact change since he won't break a twenty and pockets the extra 5 bucks, too."
